Angelic Dresses

White. Lace. Dresses. These are a few of my favourite things. Imagine how excited I was when I discovered a dress that incorporated all three at Free People. I'm one of the girliest girls I know, and when I find a cute, flirty dress, my wallet simply can't resist the temptation. I knew when I made the purchase that I would be able to wear this dress year round, and to me that is a sign of a good find.

When I bought this dress, it was still early in January, so I paired it with white tights underneath. Now that the weather has warmed up for us, my legs can say goodbye to the tights and hello to the sun. I've seen this dress styled really nicely with over-the-knee boots, but because I'm short, I prefer to show off my legs at an attempt to look taller. The struggles of being a PORG (that stands for 'a person of restricted growth').

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of chokers on their own, but I do like tops and dresses that incorporate the trend. The top half of the dress has just the right amount of 'choker' detailing to accentuate the neckline, without being an actual choker.

This short, baby doll style has always been something I've been drawn to. I love dresses that make me feel angelic and pretty, and this dress does just that. Because of the lace detailing, you really don't need to pair this dress with anything other than shoes and basic jewellery. Keeping things simple is a theme in my wardrobe, and that's another reason why I love dresses.
